I have been approached by a couple of new members about getting application forms for X-Factor but unfortunately I am not sure and do not want to give the wrong advice. As I know you are a lovely bunch and always willing to help people all you audition junkies out there that have been through the process could anyone please post on here how to get an application form and a brief outline of the process. Thanks a lot, Trudy.

For next year - you wait until the final night of the current series (which starts on Sat) and at the end of the final night they put on the TV screens how to apply for next year. They usually give a telephone number and the website.  I phoned in February (this year) and got an audition, which I was late for (silly me) or alternatively you go to their website and download an application form.

I bet everyone thinks that! I bet Madonna and Elvis Presley thought that before they were famous! I bet all of Westlife thought that, and I bet Celine Dion thought that! But the truth is, everyone who has a passion for singing sounds good....better than good! I'm sure of it!!!! Go for it!!!! You've got nothing to lose!!!!! Life is for living and taking chances!!!!! Best of luck if you do decide to enter!!!!! Wink

By the way WELCOME to the forum Natz!!!!!! Enjoy your stay here!!!!!!! Grin

Both my brother and my cousin applied in 2006, and I think he applied online for an application form.   I could't tell you what it was like as I didn't see it but I do know that after sending it off, he was invited to the Manchester auditions to perform in front of the producers, my cousin forgot her id and they wouldnt let her sing for that reason but I dont know how she applied.

I think they were closed auditions and you had to apply with a form, think the open auditions are different - these I think are the ones you just turn up and queue for ages and hope to get seen.

I think this is right but I may be wrong!
