As many of you may already be aware, Gerard has been very disappointed by the X Factor this year. This was not helped by Leon winning last night.

He has written a post over on the main site asking if this was the worst series ever.

I'd love you all to have a read and let me know what you think.

Yes it is the worst ever series, a lot of those with the talent never got through to the finals. There was no wow factor this year and no-one that you were really desparate to win and got right behind them. Even the final 3 were not up to previous standards and would probably not got into previous finals, it has been a great disappointment and so was the winner. Leon was interviewed on GMTV & Lorraine Kelly today and there is no sparkle from him, no personality, he did not even seem excited about winning yet this is supposed to be what he wanted more than anything. Lets hope that next year they work a lot harder and talk to the judges about putting more talent through and less comedy acts, we need to have talented people in the finals come on X-Factor get it together next year.

This series has just been plain awful, I have had no interest in it at all.

They need proper musicians to screen the entrants (not show producers) and present more actual singers to the judges not just delusionals.

HI just to keep you all informed.  I live in one of the areas where they have apparently BANNED Leons single on the radio (see blog).  What actually was said this morning was that they were not going into whether it was rigged or not (they made that very clear) However if the majority of people e mailing them or ringing in were for Rhydian they would not play Leons single.  I dont know if this was said in the other counties, but this was said in ours.

I think it's hilarious!!! Especially since nearly every single one of his votes came from Scotland - surely only they should be subjected to his sub-standard singing.
It has been the worst x factor for me. And I wanted Same Difference to win because I think we need good nice people to enter the charts who can set a good example to kids. I think it's terrible that they have to listen to the likes of Rihanna, the slut! I also wasn't impressed with anyone else.
Will Same Difference have an album? I hope so, cos I will be buying it if they do.
