Aparently Foxy would like back in though. He claims they were all set for a series of celebrity pop idol last year when at the last minute it was changed to celebrity x factor.
I quite like Neil Foz and think he would be a good replacement for Louis.
Hello Tabbykat,
I think Neil Fox or Dr Fox as he likes to call himself would love to be back in the judges chair. He sees himself as having a truly valid opinion being a radio DJ.
The only problem I have with foxy is his recently expressed attitude in a music industry magazine that quoted him as saying the music business was for the young and if you hadn't entered it or succeeded by the age of 25 you were not likely to do so. Hence, I seriously think Neil would be biased and show preference towards those below the age of 25. On a show like the X factor which now has an open age of application this would not be good news.
Pete Waterman would be a good judge, he has a great ear for music and those who are truly talented - in fact he has been a judge for a national and international choir competition, something I've been meaning to blog about of late. I do think Pete thinks the show needs a big make over to improve it, especially the initial audition stages and I also think he'd like the show to go out truly 'live' with those lesser spotted musicians who are somewhat of a rarity in the age of the compact disc.
