Niki Evans took on All That Jazz tonight, a big song, and I was really looking forward to hearing how she pulled it off. I liked Niki, but I wasn't sure about the pervy trumpet player under her legs! I thought Niki looked quite nervous at times. She sang well and I enjoyed her vocals, but when i think of how Catherine Zeta Jones looked as she performed that song, it just didn't quite cut it for me.

I was disappointed in her performance tonight, she has been my favourite each week but tonight was good but nothing special.

Another classy vocal perfomance different class to most on show period.
However the dress and the dancing did not work. She looked like my aunty drunk at a wedding.
She should deservedly go thorough

You're right she should go through, but avoid sultry dance routines in future. She was certainly not the worst of the night!

Not the worst of the night and she has an amazing voice and I think a deserving winner, but tonight she did not shine.

Awkward performance. She has a great voice but the song wasn't right for her and she looked so uncomfortable.

In general, I don't think Niki's voice is all that wonderful. If Maureen was knocking about, I'm sure she'd agree with me. There's not much finesse in her delivery.
However, I couldn't stop laughing when the trombone player went between her legs. I was making fart noises...

No Trudy, we let them watch a video in their room whenever X Factor's on otherwise we wouldn't get to listen to it

i know the feeling, one of my young people talks all the way through it, luckily she is sleeping at a friends house tonight, the other one is out and baby is sound asleep, so for once we can watch it in peace and just argue between us.

She was good, but did not give the brilliant performance that we know she is capable of, is still in with a good chance of being the winner though.

Hello Gerard,
Nikki gave it her best shot. But fortunately it was rather ship cabaret for me, certainly didn't have the sex appeal Catherine Zeta Jones would have given it.
I do like the song though.
In the competition Nikki does still have the best voice in accordance to this years standard, which I find very average.
Beverley's 'something good' was horrendous and equally horrendous was Rhydian's performance of the pop number 'Lets get this party started'.
This was supposed to be a big band week, but most of the material chosen was hardly big band music. A lot of poor song choices were made and in all honesty we the members on this forum could have made better song selections. I'd hazard a strong guess that some of us could still perform better than this years contestants irrespective of age. Singers and non singers taken into consideration.
Maureen Ageing tart.
