I really liked Leona's arrangement of this song. I think Simon could have picked her a more original song, but she did make t different from the other 100 versions we've heard, so that helped.

Leona gave a very emotional performance that was once again breath taking.

The judges said:

Louis Walsh: You took one of my favourite songs and you really nailed it. It's very rare that i see someone with the X factor on the stage, and you definitely have it!

Sharon Osbourne: You definitely made that song your own. You really Leonaised it.

Simon Cowell: I have done a lot of these shows, and that was the single best performance I have ever seen.

Not my personal cup of tea, but it was a stunning performance and I'm impressed that she managed to hold it together considering how personal the song is to her. It goes to show just how professional she is. Whatever the result of the show, and whether you like her style or not, you have to agree that the girl deserves a recording deal.

I would really like to see her win, she has had some bad press this week, yet she has ignored it and excelled herself this week. Hope she does get a recording contract it would be a waste if she doesn't.

Again not my favourite type of singer, but Leona was stunning on this track, she made it her own and did not sound a Mariah Carey karaoke singer for once.

I was so upset with this on saturday night..... after all the performances she has put on she went for the sympathy vote! Did'nt cut it for me i'm afraid! she should just get out now because no matter what she is gonna get signed up.... I can see her getting the boot right at the end..

Lesminx, she was the only singer on stage last night. She was without any doubt in my mind the winner on stage last night.

She gave a top class performance on this song "Somewhere over the Rainbow" that is second to none. This was better than Eva Cassidy's version and a damned sight better than the legendary Judy Garland.

On her other song "I have nothing" she belted out a song in equal musical dimension to the world class Whitney Houston.

Against Ray next week, Leona should if theres any justice in the world Walk it.

Leona has given all she has to give, this was her peak. With or without stage presence or personality, the girl can sing like a star.

Yes Leona should walk it, she was really good on Saturday and I thoroughly enjoyed both songs. Unfortunately Ray has a lot of teenage fans who do not vote just on the singing but on whether they are fanciable, so Leona could be disappointed saturday, but I hope not she deserves to win it.

Yes its funny how in the semi-final the acts start pulling out the 'crying' tactics.

Well, it was the song she sung at her cousins funeral and she wanted to sing it on stage so its hard not to be emotional.

Rays of course was also emotional, but not so personal. Because its a football anthem, I kind of switch off to this song, it does nothing for me. In fact I will go as far as to say, I dislike that song intensely.
