Emily Nakanda sang I'm not a Girl.

I really wanted Emily to do well, she is so young and it woukd be nice if this helped build her confidence. But Simon was right, she was flat and this song definitely did not showcase her voice well.

Will Sharon find herself losing another act tonight...it could well happen.

Was disappointed, wanted her to do so well. According to the papers Sharon did not even come to the studio until Thursday so if true she has let her girls down again and I agree I think Sharon will have one in the final two tonight unless people vote because sharon was so upset last week and did her publicity walkout.

Really dont like her, having met her at bootcamp i found her pretty sly!

i dont see the point of her being there, she isnt singing well, she doesnt look the part? i mean whats wrong with the public!! the first through, its all a sympathy vote,

i may be being spitefull but its being honest, i see so much more talent at bootcamp and she is wasting a place of that!

I actually think she has quite a nice voice and is definately the worst singer in the competition. I think we need to remember how young she is and a competition like this is difficult for the older ones. Think it will be a great experience for her, she will not make the finals but will have achieved what a lot of other people can only dream about. As for the sympathy vote, you could say a lot of the artists this year played the sympathy vote.

no offence trudy, i totally respect ure views on this, but why do people keep playing on the age! so what she's young, she is the same as everybody else. The age catergory was lowered so the youngers can be treated as adults and taken seriously in this business, and giving a chance, and fair-do's she has been given that chance, but i just dont think she has any talent, she sounds like she has a frog in her throat! just my opinion!

and yes your correct, everyone has played on a sympathy vote, and thats why i love alisha, she has been put in the finals purley for her talent, she has bound to have lost family, been hurt etc, but she doesnt brag about it and dote on it every single week!

but like i said, i respect what your saying and lets only hope the best for who we are supporting...

Its not playing on the age thing, its just a maternal thing for me that she has not got the life experience of others who have sang in clubs etc. I think she holds her own and is better than some of those older than her and has a nice voice, she will not get far in the competition but is not an awful singer.

She's not a bad singer at all, but was weak tonight.  It looked terrified - possibly because she was aware of tuning problems.  I think it must be so hard for her coping with demands of GCSE courswork and doing this competition.  All the older contestants put their jobs on hold but poor Emily has to carry on working and,as a mother of a 15 year old, I know just how much work there is.

Milly, I agree its not that the younger ones want special treatment, but they do have extra pressure which they are not used to. Studying for GCSE's is a particularly stressful time, I have a young person that just finished hers and I went back as an adult and did some more and was stressed, its sytressful when that is all you are doing but add rehearsals and singing live to try and acheive your dream and it has got to be difficult. Emily is not the best but I do think she has more to offer than we have seen so far, I do not think she is a winner but she is not the worst either.

I don't know about not being the worst, she's definitely one of the worst and I feel she'll probably get further than she should because people will keep voting for her given that she is the youngest there. Everyone there should be treated fairly on how strong their vocal talent is, and I just feel that Emily simply isn't good enough at the moment.

Maybe in a few years Emily can come back when she's got a bit of life experience behind her, and maybe we'll see an improvement in both voice and performance. As it stands though, I just feel she's too weak an artist to progress much further.

I do not think people will keep her in because she is young, I think she is still there because she was not the worst and people could see this. I think Daniel was voted off because of bad publicity against him in the papers, his performance was not the best but that was down to bad choice of song and nerves, given the chance I think he would have improved. So far I think the viewers voting have been fair.
