Louis Walsh made it clear that he knew who he was voting for before Lloyd and Jamie even sang. He of course kept pretty boy Lloyd and Dannii of course voted properly for the best singer. Dead lock again?

This show is becoming a joke!

I would have rather seem Jamie staying, Llyod isnt one of the stringer singers

though in reality the twins should have gone home!

It is a joke now, how can they send Jamie home over Lloyd.  Louis is a disgrace where is his professionalism he voted to save Lloyd purely because he took a disliking to Jamie from the very beginning.

Jamie shouldn't deserve to go home, what a shambles this programme has become it's no longer about talent and the best singer.  If it was then John & Edward would have gone long ago and so would Lloyd, Rachel and Lucie wouldn't have gone so early either.

Someone take the mobile phones of the little girls please so that votes are made on who is the best singer instead of who they are in love......... with  Huh

Overall based on lsat night i think Jamie was one of the worst. Lloyd did very well. On last night jamie deserve to go. I even liked the twins more than him Smiley

Very true that Louis knew who he was sending home even before they sang. That said, I think there are a lot of viewers who just don't 'get' Jamie and his style of singing. I hope he has success on his own, I think he'd be great singing his own songs.

I think this week - unlike Simon's tactical voting last week - the judges just genuinely disagreed over who should go home.
On the one hand Lloyd isnt the strongest singer as he only has a range of about three notes where he can sing well - he needs to be in a band so he can sing JUST that part in harmonies.

On the other hand every one of Jamie's performances has been average kareoke, he has zero potential as a recording artist and teenage girls wont drool over him in their thousands.  He may have been technically the better singer but he has no star quality - at all.

Top and bottom I 100% agreed with Louis's decision.  He has criticised Jamie every week for the same things  - no star quality being a one trick pony, etc etc, which are all TRUE, and rather than being a hypocrit and voting off an act he likes like Simon did last week he actually voted for the act he dislikes most.

I don't agree with your comments about Jamie, definity, but I can see where you are coming from and you're right that Jamie doesn't appeal to so many people. I also think neither Lloyd or Jamie are the best singers.

For me, Lloyd will probably get better in quite a few years. And Jamie is a rock singer, not technically perfect but I love the emotion he puts in and for me that makes for a good performance (though obviously not for a lot of people). So this is why I think Jamie was never safe and I'm not too surprised, even though I love him!

and Scott - I agree! I am loving her this year. I never did before.

well thats not really true is it Ollyfan - Jamie is NOT a good singer he is an AVERAGE singer.  His singing on Saturday was DIRE.  Absolutely dreadful, for the second week running even the twins sang more in tune than him.

Jamie has been on borrowed time for weeks now, glad to see everyone else is now as bored with him as I was by week two.

Sorry but the twins cannot even sing in tune !!!
definately123 it maybe your opinion that Jamie is an average singer but it is not everybody's. I think Jamie was a good singer he sang with emotion and was a very genuine person and I would have loved him to stay as there are weaker singers still in the competition. If John & Edward, Lloyd and Danyl had already gone then yes I would agree it would be time for Jamie to go but he is a better singer than them so I don't think it was his time yet.

What Jamie should have done is be like Danyl and go for the broken person act get the sympathy vote it worked for him and he is still playing on it every week. Jamie should have said how upset and hurt he was by Louis comments every week and his personal dislike of him, pulled the sad face etc trouble is Jamie is not a actor like Danyl and his personality probably wouldn't let him put on a act to con the public.

Never mind Jamie you know you were not the weakest singer and those still in the competition and shouldn't be know as well.

Well, that's your own not-so-humble opinion, isn't it? Some people believe that Jamie is a good singer. Just because you personally don't think so doesn't mean it isn't true. It's a matter of opinion and we're all entitled.

Totally understandable, his style isn't everyone's cup of tea.

I love Jamie but he does have his own specific style which the X Factor doesn't usually tend to promote.
