Here's an interesting take on X Factor's
Ashley McKenzie from Dan Strawberry's blog:
This is basically Pete from Big Brother all over again, the winner's already been picked out from Day One. They might as well just cancel the rest of the series and let Ashley walk away with the prize, continuing with the competition would be totally fruitless.
As I commented on Dan's blog, I think he's maybe getting the focus because he's the strongest contestant in his group. I can see him in a final showdown against The Unconventionals (for the groups) and Ben Mills (for Over 25s) - all are strong acts but for very different reasons.
