Alisha sang Say A Little Prayer tonight from My Best Friends Wedding. Can I firstly say, RIDICULOUS BOW!!! Who is the stylist on this show? When it comes to the singing I have to agree with Simon. It was good, pleasant but not good enough. Alisha was pitchy at times and just didn't blow me away. Could be in the bottom two again tonight.

I think she could be in the bottom two unless viewers give Sharon a sympathy vote so she does not have anyone in the bottom two. Her bow looked like something off a Chocolate box.

Not surprised she was in bottom two, though I thought her second performance was weaker than Daniels and I would have chosen her to go. She must feel awful though being in bottom two for two weeks running.

I think this girl amazing! I auditioned for x-factor this year and got through to bootcamp! and can i just say when ure walking around the corridors at bootcamp and you hear alisha sing, shes outstanding! shes totally stunning aswell, whenever she walks into the room you cant help but stare at her, she walks into a room and lights it up!! i feel shes getting it to harsh and sharon isnt paying enough time towards her! with the rite attention, rite image and write song, this girl could be a star!  |

Have to disagree, she deserved to be in the bottom two for the last two weeks, my choice would have been for her to go home tonight. She does not come across as anything special at all, her singing was quite flat in places and even if you can sing in private if you cannot do it in front of an audience it is no good. Her personality fails to come through as well there is nothing that jumps out at you to want her to stay.

i love alisha, i feel she has the look, she can sing and with the write help she can be big, not through xfactor but through something else,
she hasnt come across rude, she hasnt come across stubborn, she has admitted when she was low in performance, and i think it all purley comes down to "she doesnt have a sob storey", i really dont wanna sound big headed but coming from a musician myself shes has soo much potential and its not coming through because of her song choices!
i think the public dont like her because shes just genuwine alisha, no sob story for them to go "ahh il vote for her cos i feel sorry for her!" which actually says it all, how long the british public are!
no matter what anyone thinks, like simon said "i feel sorry for you, you havent been given the right songs" now does that man no potential when he see's it, YES! and thats why he's kept her,! she would be just as good in public as she is in private and its all down to sharon to get this across and save some pure talent!

Not anything to do with not having a sob story, if you read old posts on here most of us hate the sob stories and that is likely to make us like the artist less. I just cannot see what you see in her, what I see is an average singer/person.

Can't say I was surprised she was in the bottom two but I'm glad that she stayed. Her survival performance was actually pretty good, which is more than can be said of Daniel's. She'll probably be gone next week though.

I'm very disappointed in Alisha. She looks great but lacks personality or stage presence. Vocals aren't that good so far, either. No surprise to me that she's been in the bottom two each week (other than the fact I though Sharon would get the sympathy vote!). Hopefully she'll start to sparkle in the next few weeks.

I don't know that she would be amazing, but she would be a lot better and certainly more of a contender. I listened to Alisha's voice during the auditions, when she was allowed to chose her own songs, and she was outstanding. I think Sharon has picked very bad songs, and although I hate the sob stories, she seems to be almost the only finalist that doesn't have one, making her seem a bit aloof somehow. I don't think Alisha could ever win, but she could do a lot better with better songs and a different stylist....no more bows please! |
