Anyone else looking forward to this starting? (Jan 3rd 2010). It looks like it will be really entertaining - hosted by Davina MacCall and seems to be in a similar format to the X Factor or BGT, where dancers go through rounds of auditions and then get whittled down to a final few who the public vote on. There's a judges panel as well which will consist of the Ashley Banjo from Diversity, Kimberly Wyatt from Pussycat Dolls and Adam Garcia. Have a look at the facebook page for more information - there's some good video content up there too (I especially like the video of Diversity's surprise 'mob' dance at Westfeld!) - http://www.facebook.com/GottoDanceSky1It'll be good to have something to fill the January void!

I went to the screening for this last week, and it was brilliant! Seriously - I'm not a massive dance fan, but they've got some breathtaking dancers in the show, plus a load of funny and touching moments. I actually cried at one point, and I know the journalist sitting beside me did too.
The judging panel were quite fair and not at all narcissistic (unlike other recent reality shows I could mention), although Ashley Banjo needs to work on his comments if he doesn't want to draw comparisons with Alesha Dixon! "Aw, man.....[enthusiastic hand gesture]....guy...that was craaaaaazzzzyy [more enthusiastic hand gestures]. And that's not even a criticism, I just thought it was funny.
Davina was brilliant, funny and energetic throughout, but I guess she'll be used more in the live heats. But, just when I thought I was burned out on reality TV shows, Got To Dance seems to have just the right mix.

Yeah, speaking as someone who cannot abide Strictly Come Dancing, I far prefer younger, urban acts. And I especially prefer seeing what non-celebrities are doing all over the country. I'll definitely be tuning in!

Did anyone watch this tonight? I did and I really enjoyed it there was a mixture of some really good acts and some not so good. I thought the judges decisions as to who went through were fair, the women tap dancing were very basic even I am better than they were. Oh dear the couple where the woman bared her boobs, what on earth possessed her to wear a dress like that couldn't she have picked a dress with a built in bra. What was hilarious was they didn't know what the judges and audience were laughing at, doi you think we will see this on "Youv'e been framed" in the future

Young James was really good and I liked the kids in the brightly coloured suits and the japenese fellow on near the end. I did get a bit worried that it was going to be lots of take off of Diversity for a while as there seemed to be a lot trying to copy.
Can't wait for next weeks show.

Really enjoying the show! Anybody tried the online dance off challenge yet? Prize is pretty good - backstage tickets to the final! If you're too shy to dance check out the videos and judge them, my friend has submitted one! http://www.sky.com/danceoff

I'm looking forward to tonight's show.I'm hoping that the little ten year old boy who does street dancing will be good.So far Matthew Koon is my favourite, followed by Juke Box Juniors.I don't think that MJ Latin should have gone through last week,Kane was far better.
