Hello everyone...I really enjoy the apprentice, and I admire the achievements of Sir Alan, and no one would agree that Shazia should have gone this week, but let's not forget this is reality TV,and you have to ask did she want to win the apprentice enough?
I can't imagine Shazia winning the title, as there are too many strong contenders,Jenny won't win it either ,but it makes for good viewing figures to have her in for a while longer, she is after all pretty dreadful.
Unfortunately when it came to the boardroom Shazia didn't fight her corner, and you can't be a shrinking violet on that show,if she had fought to stay she most likely would not have gone
From my perspective I think Sir Alan is fully aware of what he's doing, and also aware tv requires visual charachters, with big personalities.
However when it comes down to the final 4/5 that's when the real decisions will be made, after all an apprentice will be appointed, which entails a real job ,and real boardroom showdowns, and Sir Alan will be paying their salary.
The one who has stood out for me so far is Alex,he's a doer, and boy can he defend himself in the boardroom, let's not forget, Raef and Nicholas both stitched him up but you fight back, and he did just that ,with a good command of the English language, and with dignity.
How real a job the apprentice will be doing none of us now know,I do think the 1st series did seek for just that, an apprentice to Sir Alan,Tim was a worthy winner although my favourite was Paul who came 3rd

Michelle Dewberry,in my opinion, along with Saed, damaged the integrity of the shows format, and were concerned more with the media, consequently series 3 had to be damage limitation, and some tongue in cheek, but the contestants were very good, and the final 2 were rightly chosen,Simon was a surprise, but not a shock.
This series has very strong contenders, and I'm sure we'll all at some stage be shouting at Sir Alan, for his decisions, but it does make for compulsive viewing
