Yeah, they should televise it.
It will make good telly plus expose Mona as an evil cow.
Win win if you ask me.

I hope they don't televise it.  But only because even if they televise it to make her look ignorant, it will still make being gay into an issue, whether or not it is in favour of him or not.  I'm sick of it being made into an issue either for or against.  They are people, simple as that.

after watching the apprentice youre fired with mona.
i dont believe she is homophobic, i just think she finds it hard to come across the right way. I do think that Empire shouldve won however as the other idea was shocking. Howard was fantastic =)

I hardly think they were trying to 'turn' it into a 'gay utopia' they were attempting to rebrand the town which was a strictly business minded decision... your indencent remarks disgust me.

I just cannot understand why someone will preoccupy themselves with something that ultimately doesn't concern them... If people got over themselves and just adopted the attitude of "live and let live" (as long as they weren't hurting/negatively affecting others) there would be no problem...

honestly I didnt think the gay scene was right for Margate as they have a family reputation already!  (nothing against the gay community but a lot of the time those two communities dont mix)  I thought they should have gone for the clubbers as then you could have gone for a wider range market

Well that's a fair enough - better expressed point.

I really don't know what I would have tried to rebrand it as...

Clubbers in general might have been a good idea that way they wouldn't have ruled anyone out...

I think had I done it I would have tried to reinvent the cultural side of things that wouldn't have overlooked the families this way either.

I think , as I rewatch it, trying to revive the family focus was the safest bet though.

I do agree with you to an extent Max, but as you say they have a family reputation already...and wasnt the aim of the task to re-vamp the place with a new idea. So i think the Gay scene was good, a statement as Sir Alan said, however i think if they were gonna go and do something controversial then they shouldve gone for it more. It was definately a good idea but it needed more umph to make it stand out instead of sorta anticlimaxing...
but i do think Howard was Brilliant. Mona deserved to go. Deborah was close.
