Paula Abdul has left American idol.....yey!

She announced on Twitter this morning that she wasn't returning to the hsow and it has already been confirmed that Kara will be back.

I am thrilled with this news as Paulas rambling (which I strongly supect were substance induced!) really irritated me!

Was she a judge on it I onlhy saw it a few times but I thought the judges were two men and sharon osborne, am I wrong.

She was on it with Simon and the big black gentleman his name escapes me. Though I think they have used several different judges as the fellow from Baywatch has been a judge on it and I did read somewhere that Sharon Osbourne.

David Hasslehoff and Sharon Osbourne judge America's got talent not American idol. AI judges were Simon, Randy Jackson, Paula Abdul and Kara DioGuardi

haha yeah american idol is much much better than got talent.
sharon, piers and david hasslehoff are on americas got talent
simon cowell, randy jackson and paula abdul were on the first 8 seasons and then last season were joined by kara dioguardi...

without paula it will be odd, but the judges comments bit will be waaay shorter hahaha.

There are lots of rumours going about that they are replacing Paula with Victoria Beckham, NO!!!!!!! that would be awful. How can they have her as a judge Roll Eyes

, she has no talent herself and is only interested in herself and getting her photo in the papers/magazines. They have to choose someone who is respected in the music industry or the programme will lose its credibility.

i doubt very much that victoria beckham will get it hahaha
they will have either a music star or a big music producer/manager

Thanks Lisa, got American Idol mixed up with Americas got Talent, I am not sure I have even seen American Idol.

Latest news is that Paula's replacement will be Ellen Degeneres.
She's a mid-afternoon talk show hostess and has appeared on TV and a few movies, most notably as one of the fish from Pixar's Finding Nemo. How any of that relates to the music industry or how well she will be as a judge is beyond me.

I know that Ellen isn't technically qualified but I do love hr and think she will make the show more fun.

Paula was a complete head melter and I detested watching her. Ellen is so witty yet compassionate, I think she'll make a great judge.

I've never disliked Ellen, I just never got into her. Though I do hold some regard for her as we share the same birthday. LOL
