Hello everyone,
Here's one of those curious questions. Particularly curious because we are living in an economic depression which according to the press and finace associations will be with us for at least another year.
Leisure interests such as music therefore a real treat.
So What is the most you have paid for a concert and who was it to see?
I paid £80 to go to Newcastle Arena to listen to Pavarotti several years before this master of song died.

lol. i have just SOLD a pair of JLS tickets, for £400 cash! they were the very front row of sheffield city hall.
i had NO intention of selling them whatsoever, but the lady who bought them has been badgering me for months, ever since i bought them on the release day back in july. however, a friend of mine had one going spare for the next row back (2nd row) so i have bought that off her for £85 (i think that is the most i've ever paid for a ticket) but therefore, i will still be going to the gig, i will still have a wicked seat and taking the original price of the first pair into consideration plus the price i paid for the single ticket from my friend i still have almost £300 extra spendo for chrimbo - how cool is that!

£15.00 for Bonnie Tyler/Lorainne Crosby. I would maybe pay up to twenty quid, anything more is excessive in my veiw. Having said that i was tempted to pay £27.50 for a cheap seat to see Paul Potts, but things didn't work out that month. If i was well off i think i'd pay about £100.00. For an artist i was truly a fan of.

This past summer I paid almost $100. for my Diana Krall second row tickets. Loved the show and would pay the same amount if I got the same great seats.

Hello JEff,
That's rather a lot to pay for a Jazz Pianist and singer. This kind of ticket in Newcastle would be about £27 pounds to maybe £32 pounds at the top end.

Hmmmm. I once paid £35 to see Pink at Edinburgh Castle (which by the way is a STUNNING venue) and she was worth every single penny. That was cheap considering the tickets for her dates next year are £50 plus for stadium venues. The Castle is soooooooooo much smaller than that and even if you don't get standing (which I didn't) the small size of the place means there is no such thing as a bad seat.
Well done you, though, Yummy - yes the lady paid a lot for those tickets, but as you say, she made the offer, and you've probably just given that girl the best birthday ever. I mean, yes - Mummy shelled out for the tickets, but if you hadn't agreed to sell them to her, then there'd be no JLS gig for the daughter at all.

It was a top line show and the place was really nice. I feel it was worth every penny. I go to concerts to seldomly, it was worth it. I'd really like to find some sort of a concert for early next year when I come to visit. I'm sure I could find something.

I have never been on a concert in my life!
I was at the Radio One Roadshow and simmilar things, but never an actual concert.
I did once try to buy a ticket to see MGMT for an astonishingly low price of of £12.50, but much to my disappointment they were sold out!

I've been trying to catch Lady Gaga tickets for march for a while now, I may have to pay £60 for them, a head. Possibly a bit much, I did pay £40 pound to see the Circus Live tour from Take That in the Summer, but it was so stunning I would've happilly paid double that.

The kinda show you'd expect Lady GaGa to put on will cost a mint and no mistake - obviously then the tickets will be a wee bit pricey. Having said that, I don't even like Lady Gaga but I'd like to see her live just once - bet it would be a blast.
