Hi guys
Hard as it may be to believe, the decade we all came to know as "the Noughties" is coming to a close in just over a month.
I wanted to know who you all think are the most influential bands of the decade - when you look back on the last ten years of music, which bands will you think of?
What about new bands like Kings Of Leon, Arctic Monkeys or The Killers? Or will you remember pop acts like Girls Aloud, Sugababes or Leona Lewis?
Over to you...

As I'm getting in there first to reply to this, I'm going to be boring and simply say 'The Killers' - well, they're my favourites to come out of the noughties.
I'm not sure how long they'll be remembered for, all I know is that pretty much everyone who's been 'found' by standing in front of Simon Cowell week after week, will most like disappear into history's oblivion.
Yes, 'Jedward,' even you two.

omg! gerard i never realised the noughties are about to end!
how right you are.
where has the decade gone?
i suppose the latter end of it has been the decade for revival's, and i do think many more older generation acts will follow suit over the next year or so..............and perhaps with the influence simon cowell has had in the industry during the noughties we may see the return of robson and jerome.

Just wanted to drop this in - I've started a similar thread on our blog community at Unreality Shout, which contains a list of some
massive bands of the decade
(if you're looking for some inspiration).

Don't know if you'd count this as a band, but I'm watching Paolo Nuttini right now; also the Unthanks.
