Never been much of a Spandau Ballet fan, though there is a song or two I like. Still, I can appreciate getting great seats for a concert. I recently acquired second row seats to Diana Krall. Errrr, not to take anything away from your news yummy.

You threw your knickers at Yummydaddy and wound up marrying him? That's it - I'm taking my PVC g-string to the next 30 Seconds to Mars gig I go to and throwing it at Jared Leto! That's such an awesome story! And who should you aim for? Well, the lovely Tony, obviously!!!

emma the last man i threw knickers at while he was on stage ended up becoming my husband...
I can imagine your little boys face when he is older and asks how you and daddy met.

lol. i perhaps should explain abit more. sorry to dissapoint but they were clean ones from my bedroom drawer, and he was gigging in my own pub at the time. it was the first time we'd met but i had a habit of trying to embarrass the singers (especially young male ones) just for a giggle really. what i didnt realise was, was that his father in law (yes he was still married at the time) was sat at the side of him. needless to say his wife gave me a very heated phonecall the next day, although im not surprised because he actually took the knickers home with him the daft sod lol. 4 months later i booked him in for another gig (probably just to p*** the mouthy cow off) and it turned out he was newly single. the rest as they say is history and boy have i had many more heated phone calls with the ex since. jealousy is such a wasted emotion.

Aw, Yummy - you're amazin'! You just don't take a red face, do you - that definitely will be a story for the grandkids. You and Yummydaddy have been together and solid as a rock for some time now that it was obviously meant to be... aaaaaw! I still think it's a great story!

I just found out that Spandau Ballet are playing The SECC in Glasgow in July - the tickets go on sale at 9am and I've just been paid. My friend Robbie is a fan and it's his birthday in June, so I'm gonna try to get tickets for his birthday. Guess I can throw my own knickers!!!! Edit - Or not! The tickets went on sale at 9am. By 10 past, all the £45 seats were gone. By 9.45 (my electricity meter clicked off you see when I was in the middle of paying for my two £60 seats so the sale didn't go through and I had to run to the shop to top up my meter so I could get the comp back on grrrr!) I couldn't get two of £60 seats together. So the tickets are basically sold out just over an hour later - wow! I don't mind really, but Robbie is kinda gutted...

Oh...... Emma that is so cruel of all times for the money to run out. You will have to hang on to your knickers a bit longer. Its amazing how quick the tickets sold out as they have been out of the business a long while.

Ach, it obviously wasn't meant to be was it?
I think the fact that Spandau Ballet have been away for a while is the problem. They were a wee bit like Take That in that when they split, they were still on a career high and no one was quite ready to say goodbye to them. So... I guess there are people who've been waiting like almost 20 years for their chance to catch the lads live - I didn't discover them til my teens and so would probably have been the youngest person at the gig!
