Hello Simpsons,
Auditions for BGT in front of the Judges and Audiences comes with the TV company supplied mic's and p.a.
However, when auditioning in front of the many TV reps in front or behind screens mic's are not used.
You need to learn how to handle nerves and do something with your hands, I should start practicising now what you are going to do with your hands as you can't put them in your pocket.
Look at the music manuscript of your song and you could maybe use your hands to the advantage of the lyrics be careful you don't go over the top though.
You could learn by observing on video some of your favourite artists what they do with a free hand and apply that to two.

only advice i can give anyone is just have fun on day and dont be nervous its not worth it, even if you are fantastic they will always pick the laugh factor just remember a man playing a wheel barrow with balloon on his head might even get through over you, only a few people do get through so dont think that you are bad just because you dont get through your not !!!! it was sianie s 3rd year and she already saying that she will duet with her sister next year she loves going and its the taking part that counts xxx

Does anyone know when the BGT audition letters are getting sent?
I applied for Xfactor last year and they sent me a letter, so i was just wondering if the same happens? any ideas?

Ok, so applause store have started sending out emails for tickets for the auditions for the original callback dates eg Cardiff 26/27th Jan..
Do we think we will know sooner then advised in this case? And do you think we would get much notice? x

People recalled for the earliest dates will probably be the first to find out they've been recalled to give them enough notice.
If your recall date passes and you haven't had a phone call you can work it out for yourself that you're not through. That's happened to me for every audition, that's why I just forget about it once I've done my first audition.
